How can I add a new custom field ?

You can add custom fields in addition to default fields offered by Vtiger CRM.

Follow few simple steps to add custom fields in selected module under Vtiger Settings.

  1. Menu > Settings > Module Layout and Fields > Select the field where you wish to add the new field.
  2. Click on the top-right
  3. In the pop up Create Custom Fields, enter details
  4. Select Field Type from drop down list
  5. Provide field name in Label Name field, and specify field length in Length field
  6. Provide the default value for the custom field.
  7. Set the field properties to the custom field by enabling the specific checkbox.
  8. Click Save
