I have added new values to a picklist but cannot see it while creating a record.

For example, I have added new values to Contact Status field, but they are not appearing while I am trying to create a Contact record.

By default there is a picklist dependency between Contact Type and Contact Status and the new values added to the Contact Status field should be enabled for the respective Contact Type to be seen under Contact Status.

To verify and enable the values under Picklist dependency, please follow these steps

1. Click on Menu
2. Click on Settings
3. Select Picklist Dependency under Configuration
4. Click on the Edit icon besides the dependency between Contact Type and Contact Status



5. Select the new values that are added in the Contact Status field to be shown when the respective Contact Type is selected.
6. Click on Save
