How to a Generate Short URL?

Let us now learn how to generate a Short URL for a given Source URL.

Follow these steps to generate a Short URL:

Log in to your CRM account.
Click the Main Menu.
Go to Essentials.
Look for Others.
Select Short URL. You will be directed to the Short URL module.

Choose the category such as General, Marketing, or Promotion based on the type of your website.
Type the Source URL in the Shorten your link field.
Click Shorten.

The Short URL will be generated as shown above.
Once the Short URL is generated the system displays a Success message..
Click Copy to copy the URL.
Click Add Description if you want to add a description. A description helps you browse the URLs conveniently.
Enter a description of the Source URL.
Click Save.
With this, a record is created and saved in the Short URL module.

You have now successfully generated a Short URL for a given Source URL.

Note: If you try to generate a short URL for a Source URL that already has been used, the system displays the following error message - Website URL already exists.
