What are Vtiger CRM Formula fields?

Vtiger CRM helps you create formula fields for CRM modules. Creating a formula is setting up a mathematical or any rule for a module in order to attain a specific result. Once a formula field is created for a module, every time you create new records or edit old records the formula is by default applied. You can create a formula field for a module under Module Layouts & Fields settings. A formula is set up selecting the following to be evaluated:

• A module section’s fields or Vtiger Expressions or both.
• The equation (formula) to be executed.
