How to Integrate OpenWeather with Vtiger CRM?

Integrating OpenWeather with Vtiger CRM requires you to:

• Step 1:  Retrieve the OpenWeather API Key
• Step 2: Configure the OpenWeather app settings in Vtiger CRM

These steps require navigating back and forth between the Vtiger CRM screen and the OpenWeather app.

Step 1:  Retrieve the OpenWeather API Key
Follow these steps to retrieve the OpenWeather API Key:

1. Log in to your OpenWeather account. This takes you to the  home screen.
2. Click API keys.
3. Under Key, copy the API Key to a Notepad or a document.

Step 2: Configure the OpenWeather app settings in Vtiger CRM
Follow these steps to configure OpenWeather app settings in Vtiger CRM:

1. Login to your CRM account.
2. Click the User Menu.
3. Look for Lead & Contact Management.
4. Click Contacts (or Leads). This takes you to Contacts  List View.
5. Click the Settings icon.
6. Click Weather Settings. This takes you to the Weather App Settings window.
7. Paste the copied API Key in the API Key field.
8. Select a Temperature unit.
9. Click Save.

You have now successfully integrated OpenWeather with Vtiger CRM.
