What happens when a transaction for a subscription fails?

When a transaction fails, further actions will take place based on what you have configured in Autopay.

If all retry payments fail, then:

  • A transaction record is created in the related subscription, payment, and invoice records with the status Failure
  • The status of the related payment record is set to Failure
  • The status of the related invoice record is set to Overdue
