I am currently working on a task. How can I track time for this task?

Vtiger CRM has made it easy for you to log time for an activity you are currently working on.
All you have to do is,
  1. Click Main Menu.
  2. Go to the Essentials tab.
  3. Click the Tasks module.
  4. Open the task you are currently working on. 
  5. Look for the Timelog block in the Summary View. 
  6. Click the Timer icon.
Once, you click the timer, then you can start working on your task and the time will be tracked.
