What are the prerequisites to configure dependent fields and blocks?

You must complete these prerequisites before configuring Dependent Fields and Blocks:

• Set up Blocks and Fields in Module Layouts & Fields > Detail View Layout
• Define the Picklist or Checkbox fields that will be later used as a Trigger field
