You can create or schedule a conference (meeting) from a deal record in the following ways:
From the record in the List View by using the Email icon.
Follow these steps to schedule a conference with Google Meet from a deal record:
From the record Summary View using Email icon, Log a Meeting, or Schedule Conference (under More).
The process is the same (as mentioned above) for creating or scheduling a meeting using the Emailicon.
Follow these steps to schedule a conference with the More > Log a Meeting option.
Follow these steps to schedule a conference with the More > Schedule Conference.
- From the record in the List View by using the Email icon
- From the record's Summary View by using the Email icon, Log a Meeting, or Schedule Conference (under More)
From the record in the List View by using the Email icon.
Follow these steps to schedule a conference with Google Meet from a deal record:
- Log in to the CRM.
- Go to the Main Menu
- Click Sales
- Click Deals. The Deals List View screen is displayed
- Hover on the deal record for which you want to create an event (meeting)
- Click the Email icon
- Enter or select the following information in the Compose Email window
- To - Enter the name of the person to who you are sending the meeting request
- Type the first three letters of the recipient’s name and click to select
- Click the drop-down beside the To field to select the contact type (Contact, Organization, Vendor, Employee, etc.)
- Add contacts to CC and BCC fields if you need to forward the email to others
- Click More to display and enter the following information
- From - Add the from email address
- Reply To - Add the email address to receive the email
- Add CC and BCC - Add email addresses to send Ccand Bcc emails
- Subject - Add the subject of the email
- Click the Insert Links drop-down
- Select the Schedule Conference option
- Enter the following in the Schedule Conference window
- Enter Event Name - Enter the name of the event
- Type of meeting - Select Google Meet
- Start Date - Enter the start date
- Start Time - Enter the start time
- Duration - Enter the estimated duration of the meeting
- Click Add. The system displays a message asking if you want to send an email to the invitees with the meeting details
- Click Send. The meeting information will be added to your email
- Add email content in the text window
- Note: You can select an existing email template instead of typing out content. You can also attach documents (if any) using the Attach Files link
- Click Send

- Click Sales
- Click Deals. The Deals List View screen is displayed
- Click the Deal record from where you want to create a meeting. The Summary View opens
- Click More (three dots) in the top right corner
- Click Log a Meeting
- Enter or select the following information in the Quick Create > Event window -
- Subject: Enter the name of the event
- Activity Type: Select Google Meet
- Start Date & Time: Enter the date of the event
- End Date & Time: Enter the start time
- Description: Enter the description
- Participants: Enter the estimated duration of the meeting
- Click More Fields to add additional information for the following -
- Assigned To: Assign the meeting to yourself or to the host of the meeting
- Status: Select the status as planned
- Priority: Prioritize the event by selecting the options from the drop-down
- Location: Add the location of the event
- Event Image: Browse for and upload an image for the event
- All Day: Enable the checkbox for an all-day event or meeting
- Is Mutual?: Enable the checkbox
- Related To: Select the option from the drop-down or type a the first few letters to search and select
- Click View Full Form to add information for different sections such as Event Details, Reminder Details, Recurrence Details, Description Details, Related To, and Invitees
- Click Save. The system displays a message asking if you want to send an email to the invitees with the meeting details
- Click Send Email to confirm
- Enter or select the following information in the Quick Create > Event window -
Follow these steps to schedule a conference with the More > Schedule Conference.
- Log in to the CRM.
- Go to the Main Menu
- Click Sales
- Click Deals. The Deals List View screen is displayed
- Click the Deal record from where you want to create a meeting. The Summary View opens
- Click More (three dots) in the top right corner
- Click Schedule Conference
- Enter the following in the Schedule Conference window
- Enter Event Name - Enter the name of the event
- Type of meeting - Select Google Meet
- Start Date - Enter the start date
- Start Time - Enter the start time
- Duration - Enter the estimated duration of the meeting
- Click Add. The system displays a message asking if you want to send an email to the invitees with the meeting details
- Click Send
- The meeting information will be added to your email
- Enter the following in the Schedule Conference window
- Add email content in the text window

- You can also attach documents (if any) using the Attach Files link
- Click Send
