You can send an MMS message from the screens where the SMS icon is available. You can send from the Contacts, Deals, Organizations, and Vendors module in the CRM.
Follow these steps to send an MMS from the Contacts module:
Note: The CRM will recognize a message as an MMS when you attach media files to your message.
- Log in to your CRM account.
- Click the Main Menu.
- Click Essentials.
- Click Contacts. Contacts List View appears.
- Hover over the required contact and click the SMS icon.
- Enter or select information for the following:
- Select Phone Number: Select the contact's phone number from the drop-down.
- Select SMS Gateway: Select the required SMS provider from the drop-down.
- Message: Enter the content of the message.
- Enter the message manually, or,
- Select the SMS template from the drop-down.
- Note: Merge tags work only if you use them in an SMS template.
- Attach Files: Select the file you want to attach to the message.
- Click Send.
Note:
- Select Twilio SMS provider to send MMS messages.
- The CRM will recognize a message as an MMS when you attach media files to your message. You can add the MMS message from any module where the SMS icon is available.
You will see a success message in the top right corner once your message is sent successfully.
