Before you send an email campaign, please ensure all the prerequisites are met.
Prerequisites for sending an email campaign: - You need to ensure that the data protection regulation is in place and that you have obtained consent from your recipients to trigger an email campaign.
- For example, the GDPR is a law that requires you to obtain affirmative and provable consent from EU citizens to send them marketing emails. You can do this by obtaining a double opt-in from them.
- You must set the email opt-in requirement for delivery. When a contact opts in, it means that you have their consent to send them marketing emails. You can do this in the Email Settings.
- Note: Only users with admin privileges can perform this action.
- An active marketing list - A marketing list is a selected list of leads, contacts, or organizations at whom you launch an email campaign.
Follow these steps to create an email campaign:
- Log in to your CRM.
- Click the Main Menu.
- Go to Marketing.
- Select Email Campaigns.
- Click +New Email Campaign.
- Enter the Campaign Name.
- Select Regular.
- Click Next. The email campaign gets created in Draft mode
- Enter or select the following information
- Recipient: Select a marketing list from the drop-down or click Create New Marketing List to create a new one.
- Sender Information: Enter From Name, From Email, and Reply-To email address.
- Content: Click Select Template to choose an email template for your emails or create one from scratch.
- Click Preview to preview the campaign in different devices.
- Test the campaign.
- Click Send Now or Schedule to schedule the campaign for a desired time
Note: - Keep all the details you want to enter into the campaign ready to save time.
- You must verify the From Email before sending an email campaign.
