February Release Notes 2

New Feature

Instamojo Integration

  • Instamojo payment gateway integration with Vtiger CRM.
  • Do you use Instamojo to receive payments from your customers? 
  • If you do, you can integrate the Instamojo gateway with Vtiger CRM and manage payments from Vtiger CRM. You can choose the payment type from the Payment Configuration page, like Razorpay and Stripe.
  • Customers will receive the payment link in the mail, which they can use to make payments using Instamojo.

Enhancement(s)

Billing page

  • Change in tax charges for Canadian customers (GST/HST and PST/QST)
  • The State field is now a mandatory field if you are from Canada and need to charge taxes for your Canada-based customers.
  • While GST/HST is charged at a central level, the PST/QST is charged at a state level for the following three states.
    • Quebec - Quebec Sales Tax (QST
    • British Columbia - Provincial Sales Tax (PST)
    • Saskatchewan - Provincial Sales Tax (PST)
  • Therefore, when you select these three states, you have to enter PST/QST values. For other states and provinces, the system displays the Not Available (NA) option.​​​​​​

Duplicate Handling Option for Facebook and Google Ads Lead Forms

  • Leads and Contacts record updates for existing contacts in Facebook and Google Ads Lead forms sync. 
  • With this update, enabling the Duplicate Prevention checkbox ensures that if an existing customer or contact with a record in the CRM fills in a Facebook or Google Ads Lead form, the CRM updates the existing record for the customer. 
    • Note: Earlier, when an existing contact filled in a Facebook or Google Ads Lead form and a record existed for the contact, the sync/import process would skip the record. You would never know if one of your customers filled out a form or if they had added anything new to a form. ​​​​​​

Field Sales App

  • The Dashboard button in the Field Sales App (FSA).
  • You can now navigate to the Dashboard from the FSA app on your phone by clicking the Dashboard button. 
  • This will load the Dashboard widget and display related information as below.
    • Admins can view the following:
      • The total number of agents, Agents (Users) Logged In Attendance as present, Agents on leave. (Pivot Report)
      • The number of visits were assigned vs. how many visits were completed per agent.
      • The number of customers created by each agent. (Pivot Report)
      • The number of orders created by agents. (Pivot Report)
      • The number of invoices created for each customer.
      • The time spent at each store (Organization) with Check-In and Check-Out details. 
      • Target vs. Achievement by agents.
      • Top-selling product for the company by agents.
    • Agents can view the following:
      • How many visits were assigned vs how many visits were completed
      • How many customers were created
      • How many orders were created
      • How many invoices were created for each customer
      • Target vs. Achievement
    • Note: The above widgets are not provided in the CRM by default. You can create them in the Insights Designer and pin them to the Dashboard.​​​​​​

Social Module

  • Save time by automating social posts in the Process Designer
  • You can now post messages automatically to your Facebook and Twitter accounts by using the Social Message action in the Process Designer.
  • When you click on Social Message, the process action window pops up. You can enter the message and select your social media accounts in Vtiger’s Social module to which the messages should be sent. 
  • The Social Message action is available for Custom modules, Cases, Tasks, and Events.

Mobile App

  • Update detection feature 
  • Your Vtiger Mobile CRM app displays the following message when it detects an update made to the CRM: A new version of the app is available - Update Now. 
  • This message notifies you immediately when an update becomes available in your region.

Phonecalls

  • Phone call logs for the Generic Phonecall Gateway.
  • Have you added Generic as a Phonecall Gateway in the CRM? You can now see phone call logs for the Generic Gateway. These logs will be available in the CRM only for 20 days and then deleted.
  • The logs will display the following:
    • Resource Name: Generic Label
    • Record: Phonecall crm id
    • Status: Success/Failed
    • Requested On: Date and time of when the request came to Vtiger
    • Responded On: Date and time of when the response is given from Vtiger

Tally 

  • Module-level reset option.
  • The Reset option is now available at the module level for CRM Admins. You can re-sync Taxes, Charges, Discounts, and Sales Accounts (if applicable) with this option.
  • Records will be reset, and data will again be fetched from Tally to Vtiger CRM in the sync process after reset. 
    • Consider this example. If you make a mistake, say, adding predefined taxes before the sync from Tally, then there will be a tax mismatch between Vtiger and Tally.
    • At this stage, you can use the reset option to reset the values and fetch data from the modules again.

Tally 

  • Sync direction at the module level. 
  • You can select the sync direction at the module level for individual modules or all the modules you want to sync.  
  • This is possible since the following sync directions are now available as drop-down options in the Enable Sync column for every module:
    • Sync from Tally to Vtiger
    • Sync from Vtiger to Tally
    • Sync Both Ways
    • Disable Sync
  • For example, you may want to sync Organisations, Products, and Invoices from Tally to Vtiger but sync Sales Orders from Vtiger to Tally. You can select the sync direction for all these modules at the same time as per your requirement.   
    • Earlier, you could select the modules and set up the sync direction one way. If you wanted to sync other modules, you had to change the sync direction again. This has been eliminated with the update. 
  • Note: Only Admin users can set up the sync direction.​​​​​​

Webforms  

  • Create a Blocked IPs List to block IPs and reduce spam in Webforms. 
  • The CRM will not create a record for a Webform if it is submitted without a Captcha or Honeybot security options. Instead, the IP is entered into the Blocked IPs list. 
  • You can add the Blocked IPs page in Settings > Configuration > Blocked IPs. This page will display the following columns - Blocked IP Address, Records Created, Blocked Webform Requests, and Action. 
    • Clicking the Records Created count will display the record ID, record name, module name, and created time.
    • Clicking the Blocked Webform Requests will display a table with the number of blocked requests, the web form name, and the Export button.
    • Clicking the Block or Unblock button in the Action column will let you block or unblock an IP. Clicking the Export option will export the details of the blocked IP to a CSV file.  
  • The CRM sends an email to the Admin mentioning that an IP was added to the blocked IPs list. 
  • Admins can unblock or block an IP upon review. For blocked IPs, even valid webform requests will not be accepted at a future date.

Enhancements

Booster for Facebook Lead Ad Forms

  • Booster for 10 Facebook Lead Ad Forms
  • This booster is for Facebook Lead Ads, and one booster will increase the number of Lead Ad Forms by 10. To get more forms, please visit the Billing page and change the quantity for this add-on. For example, to add up to 20 forms, change the quantity to 2.
  • Price: $10 per month.

Booster for Google Lead Ad Forms  

  • Booster for 10 Google Lead Forms
  • This booster is for Google Lead Forms, and one booster will increase the number of Lead Forms by 10. To get more forms, please visit the Billing page and change the quantity for this add-on. For example, to add up to 20 more forms, change the quantity to 2.
  • Price: $10 per month.

Live Tracking

  • Search option to look up agents in Live tracking.
  • Searching for specific agents may be challenging when you have many agents on the field working for you.
  • You can use the Search field to look up an agent and track their location in such a case. 

OTP Login Add-on in Vtiger Marketplace

  • Create a login for CRM users with OTP authentication using our Add-on.
  • CRM users in your organization can log in to the CRM with a one-time password that will be sent to their phones via an SMS message when they log in. The SMS will be sent to the number in the User Phone Number field in the User record.
  • Note: When the User Phone Number is added for a user, a verification code will be sent, which should be submitted back to CRM to confirm ownership of the number.
  • Price: $50 per month
  • Available: One Growth, One Professional, One Enterprise.

Tally Integration

  • Tally Integration is available as a free add-on for One Growth Edition for the India Market.

Workflow Scheduler

  • The Scheduler displays information on active Workflows.
  • The Scheduler will now display all the workflows that are currently running as per the Scheduler List. This option is available for multiple scheduled workflows with the same trigger time and helps you know and monitor active workflows. 
  • Just click the question mark icon beside the Running Status to display the workflow name that is running. 
  • Note: The status of the scheduled workflow Cron changes back to active when workflow action is completed.
