You can change a contact back to a lead in the lifecycle stage.
Follow these steps to change a contact to a lead:

- Click the Menu icon.
- Go to Essentials.
- Click Contacts.
- Select the contact that you want to edit.
- Click the lifecycle button beside +New in the contact's header section.
- Select Lead from the Lifecycle Stage picklist.
- Select the type of lead from the Status picklist.
- Click Save.
