If a Contact moved to another Organization (Company), how should we deal with it?

When a Contact moves, we advise that you change the Contact Status to "NLWC"  (No longer with company). Create a new Contact record for the same person with details linking to new company (company name, work email address,..etc will be different for this new contact record).

Why?
  1. While with Org A, Contact A  could have been linked to many transactions (Deal, Quote, Case, Event, Project..etc) as primary contact. If you switch Contact A now to Org B, then all those tranactions lose their meaning. By not changing the Contact A, you are retaining the integrity of the previous transctions.
