Table of Contents
When a Contact moves, we advise that you change the Contact Status to "NLWC" (No longer with company). Create a new Contact record for the same person with details linking to new company (company name, work email address,..etc will be different for this new contact record).
Why?
Why?
- While with Org A, Contact A could have been linked to many transactions (Deal, Quote, Case, Event, Project..etc) as primary contact. If you switch Contact A now to Org B, then all those tranactions lose their meaning. By not changing the Contact A, you are retaining the integrity of the previous transctions.
