What Does the One View Widget Display in Deals

In this article, we will discuss in detail what the One View widget displays for a deal.
Before you proceed, read the article on One View: Introduction – it talks about the One View feature and explains its significance.
The One View widget in Deals displays the following related records for a deal:
Contacts
Contacts are the key stakeholders of a deal. You can view them under a deal’s One View widget.
What actions can you perform on a contact record under One View
- Choosing a contact role
- Do you have multiple contacts associated with a deal that you are pursuing? Want to be sure you are calling the right person for the right reason? Use Contact Roles.
- You can select a contact role by clicking the Select Contact Role picklist. Default contact roles will be listed in the CRM. To learn more about Contact Roles, click here.
- Reaching out to the contact
- By clicking the More icon on the top right corner of the contact card, you can see Call, Email, and SMS options. The primary contact details stored in the CRM are used for reaching out to your contacts.
- The unlink option removes a contact from a deal’s related records.
- Viewing key fields
- Important information about a contact comes in handy with Key Fields.
- Link contacts to a deal
Organizations
Similar to Contacts, you can view the details of a deal’s related organization in One View.
What actions can you perform on an organization under One View
- Reaching out to the organization
- By clicking the More icon on the top right corner of the organization card, you can see Call, Email, and SMS options. The primary contact details stored in the CRM are used for reaching out to an organization.
- Only one organization can be linked to a deal at once. To link an organization to a deal, go to the deal’s Deep Dive View and add the organization under the Organization Name field.
- Viewing key fields
- Important information about an organization is shown in Key Fields. You can view the key fields by clicking the organization card.
Quotes
In this section of One View in a Deal, you can view all the quotes created for a deal.
What actions can you perform on a quote under One View
- Unlinking a quote
- Click the More icon on the top right corner of a quote card to view the Unlink option. When you unlink a quote from a deal, it stops showing under the deal’s One View.
- Viewing key fields
- Important information about a quote is shown in Key Fields. You can view the key fields by clicking the quote card.

Projects
After a deal is won, you can create a project and define tasks for it. This helps in tracking the progress of the project and ensuring prompt service to customers.
What actions can you perform on a project under One View
- Unlinking a project
- Click the More icon on the top right corner of a project card to view the Unlink option. When you unlink a project from a deal, it stops showing under the deal’s One View.
- Viewing key fields
- Important information about a project is shown in Key Fields. You can view the key fields by clicking the project card.
