What Does the One View Widget Display in Contacts

Did you ever wish you could view all your contacts’ information in one place without switching back and forth between apps?  

We believe your wish has come true because One View will do it for you! Look what One View will display for a selected contact and all in one place:  

  • Organization the contact belongs to
  • Deals related 
  • Cases reported
  • Quotes created 
 

In this article, we will discuss what the One View widget displays for a contact. 

Before you proceed,  do read the article on One View: Introduction – it talks about the One View feature and explains its significance. 

The One View widget in Contacts displays the following related records of a contact:

  1. Organizations

You can view the details of the related organization in the Contact’s One View.

What actions can you perform on an organization under One View

  1. Reaching out to the organization

By clicking the More icon on the top right corner of the organization card, you can see Call, Email, and SMS options. The primary contact details stored in the CRM are used for reaching out to an organization.

Only one organization can be linked to a contact at once.

  1. Viewing key fields

Important information about an organization is shown in Key Fields. You can view the key fields by clicking the organization card.

  1. Deals

All deals related to a contact can be seen in the contact's One View widget. 

What actions can you perform on a deal in One View

  1. Reaching out to the contact

By clicking the More icon on the top right corner of the deal card, you can see Call, Email, and SMS options. The primary contact details stored in the CRM are used for reaching out to your contacts.

The unlink option removes a deal from a contact’s related records. 

 
  1. Viewing upcoming activities and key fields

You can view all upcoming activities related to a deal along with the key fields that display important deal-related information.

  1. Cases

Whenever a contact reports an issue, you can create a ‘case’ with relevant details. All these details related to the case can be viewed under the Contact’s One View Widget.

What actions can you perform on a case under One View

  1. Unlinking a case

Click the More icon on the top right corner of a case card to view the Unlink option. When you unlink a case from an organization, it stops showing under the Contact’s One View.

  1. Viewing case details in key fields

Important information about a case is shown in Key Fields. You can view all the details in key fields by clicking the case card.

  1. Quotes 

In this section of One View in Contacts, you can view all the quotes sent to a contact.

What actions can you perform on a quote under One View

  1. Unlinking a quote

Click the More icon on the top right corner of a quote card to view the Unlink option. When you unlink a quote from a contact, it stops showing under the contact’s One View.

  1. Viewing key fields

Important information about a quote is shown in Key Fields. You can view the key fields by clicking the quote card.

Additional Information:

  • You can open a One View record by clicking the ​ icon.

  • You can create or link new records under One View by clicking the icon. 

  • One View shows a maximum of 20 records from each module. Click Show more to view all the records.

  • Records under One View can be hidden or expanded by using the arrows beside the module names.
