Once you open Maps, make sure you turn on your device’s location.
In the Maps screen, you can find two options at the bottom - Nearby Clients and Route Maps.
Let us learn about them and their working in detail...
Nearby Clients
Nearby Clients is a feature that displays the Leads, Contacts, and Organizations close by to your location. You can tap on the marker for a client to view their details and navigate to their location.
You can perform other actions on this screen, such as:
- Sharing your current location by clicking the Share icon.
- Filtering your view by clicking the Filters icon. You can also mention the radius in Kilometers or Miles. If the Leads, Contacts, or Organizations are within that radius, they will be displayed.
- Rotating the map to point towards North by clicking the Compass icon.
- Centering to the current location by clicking the Target icon.
- Viewing the client details and navigating to their location by clicking the client marker on the map.
Route Maps
Route Maps is the feature that shows the Onsite service and Onsite meeting events assigned to the current user for that particular day.
|
You can plan your day based on two factors - either the meeting time of the events or the shortest route between different locations.
Meeting Time
If you choose the Meeting Time, then your day is planned according to the meeting time of the events. The distance between the locations is not considered here.
Shortest Route
If you choose the Shortest Route, your day is planned according to the distance between different locations. The meeting time is not considered here.
To determine the shortest route, you must first specify the last stop. It can be the final meeting location, your current location, or any other location. Once you enter the last stop, the distance between the places is calculated, and the shortest route is determined.
|
Once you decide the factor that will be considered to plan your schedule, you can start your day. You can select your first meeting, view the event details, navigate the location and check in. Once you finish the meeting, you can check out and add comments if necessary.
