The status on the Esign document says In-progress. What does that mean?

In-progress means, the document is being signed by the signees mentioned in the document,
Have a look at this list which tells you the meaning of each status in Esign Documents:

• Created - Esign Document is just created.
• Sent - Esign Document is sent for signature.
• Delivered - Signee has received the document.
• Seen - Signee has seen the document.
• In-Progress - The document is being signed by all the signees mentioned in the document.
• Signed - Signee has signed the document.
• Declined - Signee has declined to sign the document.
• Cancelled - Signee has discarded the document.
