Why do I see an Invalid credentials. Revoke access and add again error when creating a Teams Meeting Event?

This error typically occurs when the CRM is unable to connect to Microsoft Teams (or other Office 365 services) due to an issue with the access token used for authentication. Common reasons include:
  • Expired Access Token: The token issued during the initial Microsoft Teams authentication has expired.
  • Revoked Permissions: You or your Microsoft admin may have revoked the CRM app’s access.
  • Password Changed: If the password for your connected Microsoft account was recently changed, the token becomes invalid.
  • Consent Removed from Microsoft Tenant: Your Microsoft admin may have removed app permissions or modified policies that impact token validity.
  • CRM Token Cache Issue: The CRM’s stored token may be corrupted or mismatched due to session inconsistencies.
