How do opt-in values in the CRM change on webform submission?

When the existing Email Opt-in value is

What happens when a webform is submitted

Single Opt-in(User), Single Opt-in(Webform), or None

CRM retains the existing value when a webform is submitted with the Email Opt-in checkbox left unchecked.

Single Opt-in(User), Single Opt-in(Webform), or None

CRM updates the existing value with Single Opt-in (Webform) when a webform is submitted with the Email Opt-in checkbox checked.

Double Opt-in

CRM retains the existing value when a webform is submitted with the Email Opt-in checkbox checked or unchecked.
