This issue usually occurs because the Edit option is disabled in the particular user’s profile permissions.
Note: Only the Admin user can access the profile permissions settings.
Follow these steps to enable the Edit option users in Vtiger CRM:
- Log in to the CRM
- Click User Menu.
- Select Settings. The Settings page opens.
- Select Profiles. The Profile page opens.
- Select the Profile assigned to whom you want to enable the Edit option.
- Go to the respective modules > Description and enable the required permissions (Read or ReadWrite).
- Click Save.
