Enhancements

AI Widgets in List and Detail View

  • You can now use the AI Widget in a List View or the Detail View to learn more about the module and record you are in. 
  • For example, you can learn about the top leads you need to follow up on or the top cases you need to respond to. 
  • The AI Widget displays information in both paragraph and list form.  

Calculus AI

  • You can now update records and fields using Calculus AI.
  • For example, you can update any record using the UPDATE API action in Calculus AI.

Line Item Block in Inventory Modules

  • You now have the option to edit pick list field values that you have added in the Line Item block of any inventory-related modules like Invoices, Quotes, Sales orders, etc.
  • They will be available under the Picklist Editor of Configuration page.
  • Note: 
    • If you delete a value from the Picklist Editor, then it needs to be replaced in all the line items of the Inventory record.
    • Role-based Picklist field value assignment is not available.

Livechat and Chatflows

  • AI Agents are now available as customer support agents in Live Chat. You can use Chatflows to divert user queries to AI Agents. 
  • For example, if your customers want to check about their Case status, an AI Agent can respond to their queries.
  • With this enhancement:
    • When a customer raises a new issue via Live chat, the AI agent will create a case record with the provided details in the CRM.
    • When a customer has a question, the AI agent responds with relevant answers retrieved from a knowledge base or predefined responses.
    • When a record is created from Live Chat by AI Agents, the record will be linked to the related visitor record.

Process Flows

  • You now have AI Action and Prompt support in Process Flows. 
  • For example, you can use the AI action for lead enrichment for a new lead that comes in via a web form or email. You can send relevant details (company size, job title, product interest) and collect data from LinkedIn, company news, etc.

Workflow-webhook

  • You can now use a Workflow webhook to send current module data along with related module information.
  • For example, you can send Contact information and the related Deal records information in one request. So if one contact has five deals, then you can send the Contact’s information like first name, last name, mobile number as well as the related Deal information such as Deal name, Deal ID, amount, etc.
  • You will be able to select five related modules for a webhook. You need to enable the Related Modules checkbox on the Webhook Action page and then use the Add Related Module button to select a module from a drop-down. The drop-down displays all the related modules you have selected in the Workflow.

Features

Integration of WhatsApp and Pinnacle with Vtiger

  • You can now integrate WhatsApp and Pinnacle with Vtiger and send WhatsApp messages directly from the CRM.  With this integration, you can send WhatsApp messages in the following formats: text, image, document, and video.
  • Pinnacle is available as an Add-on, and you need to install it before you integrate it with Vtiger CRM and WhatsApp.
  • Note: This integration was built using Vtiger’s feature, Module Designer.

Server Scripts & Jobs Booster Pack

  • Server Scripts and Jobs is available as a Booster Pack in Vtiger Add-ons. 
  • Here are the details:
    • Name: Booster for Server Scripts & Jobs
    • Price: $25
    • Max packs: 25

Enhancements

APIs for Edition Limits

  • You can now check the edition limits for the Vtiger CRM edition you are using through web service APIs. If you send the name of the feature, Vtiger will return the following information:
    • Edition Limit
    • Allowed Limit
    • Current Limit
  • Here are a few examples. You can learn about:
    • The number of workflows you have used up to the current date.
    • The number of webhooks used and the number remaining as per your edition limits. 
    • The number of runs pending for Server Jobs and Scripts.

Customer Portal

  • You can now download documents linked to a module directly from the Customer Portal using the Download icon.
  • This:
    • Allows you to retrieve documents relevant to your needs, fostering transparency and a centralized place for record information.
    • Automates the document-sharing process.
  • The Download option is available at a record level, provided the permissions are enabled.

Email Templates

  • A Merge Tag to include the CRM user’s signature is now available in Email Templates. You can include the signature configured in the  My Preferences page.
  • This tag, named Created by User, is available for all modules where you create email templates. 

Partner Portal

  • You can now preview and download documents in the Partner Portal in the Documents module.
  • These options are available in the List View and the Detail View of a record.

Phonecalls

  • The Phonecall Pop-up will now display a drop-down list of users who are online. This will help transfer calls to those who are not busy with ongoing calls and are ready to take calls.

Print Templates

  • Date formats as per European standards (dd.mm.yyyy) are now available in Print Templates. For example, you can now send a quote and related document from the CRM with the date in the DD.MM.YYYY date format.
  • Other date formats available in the CRM are dd-mm-yyyy, mm-dd-yyyy, and yyyy-mm-dd.
  • The date and date time formats will be displayed under custom functions.

Stock Transfer

  • Tally integration with Vtiger now supports sending and receiving stock from multiple godowns within a single transfer. 
  • This is possible because the Stock Transfer record has a new field called Mode with 2 values: Single Stockroom Transfer and Multi-Stockroom Transfer.
  • On clicking +Add Stock Transfer, a pop-up displays:  
    • Single Stockroom Transfer - Choose this option if you transfer stock from a single source stockroom to a single destination stockroom. You can transfer multiple products between these stockrooms.
    • Multi stockroom transfer - Choose this option if you are choosing multiple stockrooms for source or destination. Validations will not be done on quantity fields in the source or destination. 
  • These are displayed when you:
    • Create a stock transfer via the Stock transfer module.
    • Create a stock transfer via the Stockroom module.

Tasks and Cases

  • You can now create one-to-many relationships between Tasks and Cases. (One Task to Many Cases)
  • It will help you control a task and related cases.
  • A Task record will contain a tab name called Cases. The Cases module will contain a field for the related Task.

Workflows

  • You can copy the Co-Owner field value from the parent module to a child module through Workflows.  
  • This option is available in Add Action for the Workflow > Update Fields screen. You can select a parent record's co-owner field when you are creating a workflow with an update field task and setting values for the co-owner field.
  • This benefits you in the following ways:
    • Automatically copying the Co-owner field keeps parent and child records consistent and reduces manual work and errors.
    • Improved Collaboration: Aligning the Co-owner field across related records ensures clear shared ownership and accountability.
    • Flexibility in Automation: Having the option to select extra values or use the parent record's Co-owner field makes it easier to handle different customer needs.

Workflows

  • A new expression option, today_datetime, has been added to Workflow functions.
  • Example:
    • Create a workflow for any module. 
      • Select action as update field for a text field and choose expression
      • Select today_datetime.
    • When the workflow is triggered, the today_datetime expression will update the user with the current day and time when the workflow was triggered.
  • Note: The date and time are based on the admin user's timezone.
