This happens when the Mailroom action rule does not map the email header fields—From Name, From Email, and Email Body to corresponding CRM fields. To fix this, update the mappings as follows:
- From Name: Last Name
- From Email: Primary Email
- Email Body: Description
After saving the rule, Vtiger will automatically capture the lead’s name and email. If your email contains structured key–value pairs, Vtiger will scan and fill those fields as well.
