Enhancements
Alert Rules
Tracking the changes in the Alert rules section.
You can track user activity when configuring alert rules in the Actions module. It will help you track the creation, modifications, edits, and deletion operations.
This option will help you track who enabled a particular alert or when it was configured. This will also help you troubleshoot problems, ensure accountability, or roll back changes if needed.
When setting up alert rules—like enabling WhatsApp notifications or turning on desktop and email alerts—users often lack clarity about the full consequences of these actions. For example, activating certain alerts can unintentionally trigger a flood of notifications to all contacts, including past and newly added ones, which can lead to confusion or overwhelm recipients.
Approvals, Process Designer, Workflows
Option to add the sub-weekdays function in the expression of workflows, Process Designer, and Approvals.
Sub_weekdays will help you set up dates that fall only on weekdays.
Once it is selected, it should input the value sub_weekdays(datefield, noofdays) in the textarea section.
The function of this expression is similar to sub_days, but depending on the default Business hours, it will ignore weekends.
For example, you can define a process to trigger the generation of a task when meetings with customers are created.
Custom Phone and Email fields
Custom Phone and Email Fields are displayed in their respective blocks
The Configuration Editor > Show phone and email as composite fields Checkbox will allow you to choose between a consolidated view (composite fields) and a block-specific view (fields displayed within their assigned sections).
If enabled (default for migration), all phone and email fields are grouped into the respective default composite fields.
If disabled, the phone and email fields appear as separate fields in the exact block where they were created in the Module Layout Editor.
This will help you segment contact information according to your business needs, making data entry and review intuitive and potentially reducing errors.
For example, a customer wants to segment their contact details more clearly for operational clarity into the following:
Custom fields: Work Email and Work Phone will appear under a block called Work Details.
Custom fields: Emergency Contact Email and Emergency Phone will appear under Emergency Contact Information.
Email Campaigns and Email Sequences
Pull records into Email Campaigns and Email Sequences using Tags
You can select a tag(s) to add records and pull in records to an Email Campaign or an Email Sequence. Adding records based on their tags will help you target recipients for prospecting and marketing purposes. It will also reduce the need for specific lists to be created and shared.
For example, you can select Tags (Lists created by Tags) applied to Contacts to pull in all the Contacts with those Tags into the Email Sequence when selecting recipients.
Events
Option to not sync closed events for Google.
You can enable the Do not sync Closed events in the calendar for Google Sync settings to ensure that closed events are not synced to Google.
Marking an event as Held closes the event. These events, updated as Closed, won’t be synced to Google if you use this option.
Note:
If this option is disabled, all events will sync from the CRM to Google, regardless of their status.
If an Event is created in vtiger with the status - Planned but is not synced to Google Calendar, and is updated and Held/Closed, then it won’t be synced to Google Calendar.
If the event is already synced, and you mark it as Held, then the event will be synced to Google Calendar as well.
GSuite
You can now sync your Gmail accounts with the Vtiger Inbox.
Pilot Edition
Invoice Tab under Billing
If you are a Pilot edition user, you view invoices for your Booster Pack downloads from the Invoice tab in the Billing Details section.
The Invoice tab appears on the Billing page when you activate your subscription.
The CRM will generate an invoice upon installing any booster pack.
Pivot Reports and Charts
Separate widget pins for pivot and chart in combined reports
You can pin both the pivot and chart views of the same report as separate widgets on the Dashboard
If a report contains both Chart and Pivot, you can pin each view separately to the dashboard.
When a Chart-only report is pinned, the dashboard will display only the chart view.
When a Pivot-only report is pinned, the dashboard will display only the pivot view.
If you are pinning a report from the dashboard and the report contains only a Pivot report, the CRM should directly pin the Pivot view.
When you pin a report from the dashboard (Add Widget → Pin Report), if the selected report supports both pivot and chart views, the system displays two checkboxes:
Pin Pivot View
Pin Chart View
Based on your selection, the system pins the specific view of the combined report.
Products
Product Selection/Mapping for Flexible Bundles
You have the option of saving products you selected within product options or flexible bundles. This allows you to save and load default selections within a flexible bundle. It also saves time since you do not have to go through each product option and select the same products each time. This is possible because of the Save Selection option.
This also allows you to create tiered options within a flexible bundle while providing upselling opportunities within each tier.
You will be able to look up your selections using the Saved Selection option. You will also be able to Load Saved Selections button to load previously Saved Selections for that flexible bundle.
Note: This action is similar to the Save Mapping and Load Mapping features available when importing.
Reports for Invoices and Quotes
Select the sum on the Margin total and the other total field together in the Invoice and Quote reports
Overall Purchase Cost, Margin Total, Margin Percentage Total, and Markup Percentage Total are considered as non-line item fields and calculated as the total value for one record.
When you generate a report, these values will be displayed as a total value.
SMS and WhatsApp Features
Message Campaigns for SMS and WhatsApp features
You can now launch a WhatsApp campaign for the contacts assigned to a specific user. The campaign status report shows how many messages were delivered and how many are still pending.
SMS Campaigns is now displayed as Messaging Campaigns, and SMS Campaign Information is now displayed as Campaign Information.
Analytics will show the following:
Total Recipients

Stock Transfer
Print template in the Stock Transfer module
While creating or updating Print Templates, you can create a new template by selecting Stock Transfer as the module from the dropdown.
The Print button available in the Stock Transfer module will let you directly generate a printable version of the stock transfer record.
In the template editor, the Special Fields > Item block will include merge tags called Stock Transfer Products that will appear in the Stock Transfer record.
This block should pull the product line items with the following details from the Stock Transfer module: Product Name, Part Number, and Quantity to Transfer.
Tally Integration
Sync Payments from Tally to Vtiger CRM
You can synchronize receipts from Tally to Vtiger as payment records against an Invoice or Organization record.
You can enable the sync one-way. (From Tally to Vtiger). You can also disable the sync if required.
This will help you capture the payments received against the invoices. It will also enable the Sales Team to learn about the statuses of Invoice Payment and Balance. It will help you follow up with the customer for the release of the payment if there are unpaid invoices.
Note: You must enable the Payment module in Tally Sync settings.
Tally Integration
Edit option for the username in Tally Settings
You have the option to reset the Admin user under the Tally configuration page.
By default, it should show the ACCOUNT OWNER name from the list.
Once it is configured, the VTC file can be downloaded for the setup.
Benefit: The configured username in the Tally settings page must remain active to ensure a successful Tally sync. If the user is deleted, you will be unable to update the username, resulting in an error during syncing.
You can configure a new user using the Edit option to ensure a smooth sync.
