Enhancements

Assignment Rules

  • Assignment rule for Inbox: Round-Robin or Least-Loaded Mode Configuration
  • You can configure Assignment Rules while creating or editing a Group Mailbox Creation. This will automatically assign incoming emails to users in a group mailbox using the Round Robin or Least Loaded methods. This ensures efficient distribution of workload, streamlining the workload distribution process.
  • While creating a Group Mailbox, you can enable the Automatic Assignment checkbox and select the Assignment Mode as Round Robin or Least Loaded. If you are unable to set the assignment rule while creating a Group, you can edit the assignment rules later.
  • Note: 
    • All the users added to a Group will be displayed.
    • If no users are available during business hours, all selected users are considered.
    • If an email is sent to multiple group addresses, the first one in the TO field is prioritized.

Global Picklist Country field

  • South Sudan is now available in the Country Global Picklist field.

Organizations

  • You can now track emails that are opened and links that are clicked for Organization module records. You can enable email tracking in the Email Settings page.
  • All actions related to email opens and link clicks will be logged in the Touch Points, Updates section, and Dashboard History of the Organization record.  
  • You can also track email open and click actions for emails sent via Workflows and Inbox, Approvals emails, Process Designer emails, emails with PDFs, emails sent from related apps, and emails sent from the Vtiger CRM Mobile app.

Partner Portal

  • You can now allow your Partner Contacts and Partner Organization to view Print Templates inside the Partner Portal.
  • Note:
    • If the module has a default template, then the download button will let the Partner Contact or Organization download the PDF version of the default template
    • If there is no default template, then it will download with the latest modified template
    • If there is no Active template for the module, then it will show the following message when a Portal user clicks the download button - There is no Active template to download. 

Websense Widget

  • Checkboxes are available for the Additional Fields section in Websense Widgets. You can select Checkbox and Picklist fields when initiating a conversation via chat. You will be able to use the checkboxes for consents, disclaimers, preferences, etc.
  • Consider these examples:
    • Data Protection Compliance: Before starting a chat, users must check a box to explicitly consent to the handling of their personal data as per GDPR/LGPD.
    • Custom Disclaimers or Terms Agreement: Businesses can display terms of service or data processing disclaimers that users must acknowledge via a checkbox.
    • Marketing Consent: Separate checkboxes can be used to gather user preferences for email or SMS marketing consent.
  • Note:
    • If the field belongs to the LiveChat module, then the field information will be stored in the LiveChat transcript record
    • If the field belongs to the Contacts module, then it will be stored in the Contact record.

  • Inter font is now available as a font option in Print Templates.
