How do I reset my Vtiger account password?

Option 1: If you are logged out and forgot your password.

Follow these steps to reset the password from the Vtiger login page:
  1. Go to your Vtiger login page.
  2. Click on Forgot password? link below the login fields.
  3. Enter your registered email ID.
  4. Click on Submit.
  5. You will receive an email with a password reset link.
  6. Open the link from your inbox and set a new password.
Option 2: If you are logged in and want to change your password.

Follow these steps to reset the password from the User Menu:
  1. Log in to your CRM account.
  2. Click the User Menu in the top right corner of the CRM screen.
  3. Click My Preferences. The My Preferences page opens. 
  4. Click the More icon in the top right corner of the user record.
  5. Select Change Password. A Change Password window opens.
  6. Enter or select the following information to change the Password:
    1. New Password: Enter the new password you wish to set.
    2. Confirm Password: Re-enter the new password to confirm it.
  7. Click Save.
