The username of the CRM account owner cannot be changed directly. However, it can be achieved by temporarily transferring CRM ownership to another admin user.
Follow these steps to transfer CRM ownership:
- Log in to the CRM account.
- Go to the Main Menu.
- Click Settings.
- Click Users under the User Management tab. The List View opens.
- You can see the CRM owner record with the
icon.
- Click Customizer and select Change Ownership. The Transfer Owner pop-up opens.
- Transfer CRM ownership to another admin user.
- Once the original account owner becomes a regular admin user, you can modify their username.
- After updating the username, you can revert the CRM ownership back to the original owner.
This process allows you to effectively change the CRM account owner’s username while maintaining their ownership role.
