The 404 error occurs when your customer attempts to access a page on the CRM platform that cannot be found.
Follow these steps to address the 404 issues in the CRM:
Follow these steps to change the DNS server settings to Google DNS on a Windows Server:
- Open Network Connection on your system settings.
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type ncpa. cpl.
- Press Enter. This will open the Network Connections window.
- Select Network Adapter.
- Right-click on the network adapter you want to change (typically named Ethernet or Local Area Connection).
- Select Properties.
- Select IPv4 Properties.
- Enter or select the following in the IPv4 Properties window:
- Locate Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
- Select it.
- Click on the Properties button.
- Change DNS Server Addresses.
- Enter or select the following in the IPv4 Properties window:
- Select Use the following DNS server addresses.
- Enter the following Google DNS server addresses:
- Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
- Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4
- Apply Changes.
- Click OK to apply the changes
- Close the Windows.
