Enhancements
Events and Field SalesApp
- Check-inC mode for location or site visits for your field sales agent.
- The Check-in mode in the Events module is a field that is updated when:
- A sales agent reaches an outlet (organization) location and checks in manually or,
- A sales agent reaches an outlet (organization) location, and the CRM automatically checks them in.
- The Check-in mode field is available:
- In the Events List View for events with the Activity Type as Beat.
- In the Summary View of an Event record for a field sales agent.
- Let us see how the Check-in mode works.
- You begin by adding Beat Plans for your agents.
- Events and routes are created automatically.
- For the Events created in the Events module, the Activity type will appear as Beat.
- At this stage, you also have to enable or disable the Allow Check-in Outside Geo-Fence field on the Vtiger 360 > Configuration Settings page.
- When the sales agent reaches a location:
- They can check in manually on their FSA mobile app when the Allow check-in Outside Geo Fence field is enabled.
- The system checks them in automatically when the Allow check-in Outside Geo Fence field is disabled.
- If the sales agent is auto-checked by the system, the Check-in mode in the Events module will automatically be updated.
- If the sales agent checks in by themself, then they will have to update the Events record manually.
- When the sales agent reaches a location:
- You begin by adding Beat Plans for your agents.
Field Sales App
- Current location coordinates.
- The coordinates for the current location in the Field Sales app will be picked up from the Organization field for an outlet.
- In case the location details do not load, you can use the search option to look for the Organization name (outlet name) and update the location coordinates (as shown) using the Update button.
Insights Designer
- Line Item field values in Insights Designer reports.
- You can now generate reports in the Insights Designer with the following values - Item name, Quantity, Net Price, and Grand total.
- You can generate a report with line item field-level data for the following:
- Products (Item name)
- Quantity - Quantity of items (Products count in all deals)
- Net Price - for getting SUM of all the deals
- Product Category
- Product sub-category
Knowledge Base (Article Visibility)
- Visibility of articles to Logged In Contacts on the Knowledge Base (KB).
- Your contacts who have logged into the KB portal can view your help articles and FAQs.
- Just set the Visibility field to Logged In contacts to ensure your articles and FAQs assigned to contacts are visible to them when they log in.
Knowledge Base (Hosting)
- Hosting your KB on a domain you bought with a custom URL.
- Have you bought a domain and want to use a custom URL to host your KB instead of the default CRM URL? Do not want to host (self-host) your KB by yourself?
- Vtiger now provides you with the Redirect to the custom URL field in Article settings. After you set up your KB on a custom domain, you can configure your custom URL in this field. Enabling this field will redirect your documentation and display it on your KB.
- Note: This field is enabled by default.
- If you do not want the articles to be redirected, simply disable the field. If you disable the field, you can access the KB portal using the custom URL that you set up with the proxy URL.
Knowledge Base (Search)
- Search shows more results.
- The KB Search Results page displays the Show more link for Articles and FAQs.
- Clicking the Show more link will take you to the respective sections, which will display the links for the first 10 articles or FAQs as well as page numbers. Clicking the page numbers will display more links.
Receipt Note
- Purchase Cost in Receipt Notes (RN).
- Your Receipt Notes will now display the Purchase Cost. This will help you know the value of items received for a given period, for example - monthly. You can also generate related reports to display this information.
- To display the Purchase Cost, you must enable the Amount Fields toggle in the Layout editor of Receipt Notes. The Purchase cost value in the Purchase Order will be copied to this field in the RN.
Phonecalls module
- Phonecall Pop-up Configuration in Settings for adding additional fields in the Phonecall Pop-up.
- Would you like to capture details to your phone record directly from the Phonecall Pop-up window? You can decide the fields and modules you can add to the Phonecall Pop-up window from Settings > Phone Popup Configuration. You can configure the fields and related modules that must be displayed on the Pop-up. You can also make specific fields mandatory to be filled in.
- So, instead of going to the Phonecalls module and editing the phone call records to update information after you finish a call, you can add details right in the phone call pop-up. Doesn’t that make your work easy?
- Note: Only Admins can add details for unknown numbers. As an Admin, you can:
- Create a Contact or Link a Contact
- Create a Lead or Link a Lead
- Create an Organization or Link an Organization
- Create a Vendor or Link a Vendor
- Create an Employee or Link an Employee
Print Template
- Related Module Filter condition in Print Templates.
- Tired of displaying all the records that have tags in Print Templates? Want to filter and view specific records related to your work?
- Now you can, with the new Related Module Filter condition. While defining a Print Template for a module, you can select the Related Module option and link (relate) a module. If you use the Related Module condition while filtering templates, the CRM will display the Print Template you defined for the original module as well as the related module.
- For example, assume you have two modules, Deals and Quotes. While defining a Print Template for Deals, you can select the Related module option as Quotes. While filtering Print Templates in the Deals module, you can also display the Print Templates in Quotes by using the Related Module Filter condition.
Quickbooks
- Mapping Vendor’s organization name.
- Vtiger now allows you to edit the Vendor name field in Quickbooks. You can now add the name of a vendor’s organization as well as the name of an individual.
- You can change the mapping of your vendor’s name to their organization or company name.
Tally
- New Sales Order and Invoice Sync.
- Vtiger Invoices will display a Sales Order (SO) tab. You can:
- Select and link an SO to an invoice, provided the SO is not linked to another invoice (previously).
- Link only one SO to an invoice at any given time.
- Link an SO to an invoice for the Contact or Organization mentioned in the invoice.
- Note: You won’t be able to link an SO to an invoice if the Contact and Organization fields are empty.
Targets
- Set up targets at the line item level.
- You can now set up targets at the product line item field level for Deals, Sales Orders (SO), Quotes, Invoices, etc.
- With this, a salesperson responsible for selling a product with a target attached to it can achieve the target through Deals, SO, Quotes, or Invoice line items.
- You can also set up targets for a group of products or services by using the Group Wise field.
- WhatsApp templates are available for all modules.
- By default, WhatsApp templates were available for the Contacts module only. You can now make them available by enabling the Any module option in WhatsApp templates. Selecting this option will let you send a message (direct or automated) from any module in the CRM.
- Limitation:
- Approved templates with variables cannot be used by any other module other than Contacts.
- Approved templates without variables can be synchronized with any module in the CRM.
