If you are sending WhatsApp messages using Gupshup in Vtiger CRM, you can only use:
To use the Gupshup-WhatsApp templates in Vtiger CRM:
Step 1: Copy the Gupshup-WhatsApp template
Step 2: Use the copied content in the WhatsApp template in Vtiger CRM
Step 1: Follow these steps to copy content from the Gupshup-WhatsApp template:
Navigate back to Vtiger CRM.
Step 2: Follow the below steps to use Gupshup WhatsApp Templates on Vtiger CRM:
- Gupshup as your WhatsApp Service Provider
- Approved Gupshup-WhatsApp Templates (default or customized)
To use the Gupshup-WhatsApp templates in Vtiger CRM:
Step 1: Copy the Gupshup-WhatsApp template
Step 2: Use the copied content in the WhatsApp template in Vtiger CRM
Step 1: Follow these steps to copy content from the Gupshup-WhatsApp template:
- Log in to your Gupshup account.
- Click your GupShup account displayed on the Dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Test access API and set the callback URL section.
- Click View Templates. The Template List screen displays available GupShup Templates.
- Choose the appropriate template and Copy the Template content.
- Create a template by clicking +Add More and adding relevant information.
- Note: The WhatsApp Template created by you will have to be approved by WhatsApp. Once your template is approved, it will be available in the template section of Gupshup.
- Copy the content from the approved Whatsapp Template.
Navigate back to Vtiger CRM.
Step 2: Follow the below steps to use Gupshup WhatsApp Templates on Vtiger CRM:
- Login to your CRM account.
- Click the User Menu.
- Click Marketing.
- Look for Marketing Enablement.
- Click WhatsApp Templates.
- Click +Add Template. The Create WhatsApp Template page opens.
- Enter or select the following information:
- Content: Paste the copied Gupshup Template in the Content section.
- Template ID: Enter the template ID.
- Template Name: Provide a name for the Gupshup WhatsApp Template.
- Note: The Gupshup WhatsApp Template names provided here are the Select WhatsApp Template dropdown list on the Contacts module.
- Assigned to: Creator of the Template.
- Module: The only desired modules where you want the specific WhatsApp Templates to remain available.
- Merge Field: The selected fields will display and add to the Gupshup Whatsapp Template Content.
- Note: The field’s data selected here will, by default, appear in the Contacts module> Send WhatsApp Message> Message Body section.
- Click Save.
