Once you have successfully installed the Wablas add-on, it will be added as a WhatsApp service provider in the
Send WhatsApp Message window. You can send messages from:
- The desktop version of Vtiger CRM as well as the Vtiger CRM Mobile app.
- From the List view as well as the Summary view of the modules where the WhatsApp Integration feature is available.
Send a WhatsApp message from the List ViewFor example, follow these steps to find and use Wablas as a service provider from the Contacts module:
- Log in to your CRM account.
- Click the Main Menu.
- Click Essentials.
- Look for Lead & Contact Management.
- Click Contacts.
- Hover the mouse on a record.
- Click WhatsApp. The Send WhatsApp Message window opens.
- Enter or select the following information:
- Phone Number - Customer’s phone number.
- Select WhatsApp Template - Choose a WhatsApp template.
- Or
- Message - Type the WhatsApp message to be delivered to the customer.
- Attach Files - Attach files if needed. Note: WhatsApp templates saved in the WhatsApp Template module are displayed here.
- Attach Files - Attach files if needed.
- Click Send.
You have now successfully sent a WhatsApp message from the List View.
Send a WhatsApp message from the Summary View
Follow these steps to send WhatsApp messages from the Summary view.- Login to your CRM account.
- Click the Main Menu.
- Click Essentials.
- Look for Lead & Contact Management.
- Click Contacts. The List View displays your contacts record.
- Click on a contact record to whom you want to send a message. The Summary View opens.
- Scroll down the widget bar and click WhatsApp. The WhatsApp messaging window opens.
- You can send, receive, reply and continue personalized/non-personalized WhatsApp conversations from this window.
- You can also make voice calls, attach images, videos, etc., or send WhatsApp Templates by clicking the options available from the messaging window.
