In Vtiger CRM, Modules represent different functional areas such as Sales, Support, Marketing, Projects, and other activities. Each module contains tools and data relevant to a specific business function.
To create a streamlined, focused user experience, admins can configure module settings and disable modules not required for their business operations.

Accessing Module Settings

Follow the steps below to access the Modules Manager:
  1. Log in to the CRM.
  2. Go to the main Menu.
  3. Select Settings. The Settings page opens.
  1. Click Modules under the Module Management section. The Module Manager page opens.

Configuring Module Settings

On the Modules Manager page, you can view all available modules. Here you can configure the following settings options.

Enabling or Disabling Modules

The Module Manager displays all modules available in your CRM. You can enable or disable modules based on your business requirements.
Follow the steps below to enable or disable modules:

  1. Log in to the CRM.
  2. Go to the main Menu.
  3. Click Settings. The Settings page opens.
  4. Click Modules under the Module Management section. The Module Manager page opens.
  5. Enable or disable the checkbox next to the specific module in the CRM.

Note: You cannot disable a module with a mandatory relationship with other modules. Remove the mandatory relationship before disabling a module

Changing Parent App

As an admin, you can move custom modules between app categories.
Follow the steps below to change the parent app of a module:

  1. Log in to the CRM.
  2. Go to the main Menu.
  3. Click Settings. The Settings page opens.
  4. Click Modules under the Module Management section. The Module Manager page opens.
  5. Click More(ellipsis).
 
  1. Click Change parent app.
 
  1. Select the target app.
  2. Click Save.

Deleting a Custom Module

Follow the steps below to delete a custom module:

  1. Log in to the CRM.
  2. Go to the main Menu.
  3. Click Settings. The Settings page opens.
  4. Click Modules under the Module Management section. The Module Manager page opens.
  5. Click More(ellipsis).
 
  1. Click Delete.
  2. Click Yes to confirm.
